Have you listened to a child's prayers recently? One of my favorite parts of working with children is seeing them grow in the Lord, and an easy way to see this growth is through their prayers. Not long ago the prayer of a seven year old boy struck me. Rather than bringing requests to the Lord, the little boy just shared what was on his mind, a story about a friend. Not only was this prayer precious, it was a rebuke. How often to do I come before the Lord just to share what is on my heart? He is the Friend and Father who hears, cares, and loves; He wants us to pour our hearts out to Him.
